The money is ok, but it is very stressful.

Usually it is quite boring, but on the whole it can be fun.

Working with numbers is really exciting for me.

I would love to get promoted into more senior position.

I work flexitime, so I can be there any time between 7 and 10.

No, I don’t do shift work.

I work day shifts/late shifts.

Do you work overtime?

 

Yes, sometimes I have to do overtime and I don’t get paid for it.

I do OT sometimes, but, since we get pretty well paid for, we are happy to accept it.

 

 

And what about the sick leave?

 

Sometimes I have to call in sick.

I am calling in sick today.

And some people just “pull a sickie” – they are not really sick, but want to get a day off.

 

 

And vacations?

 

Sometimes I really need a holiday.

I need some time out after a challenging task.

I wish we had some annual leave.

I work like a dog, I need a break.

I have been working my ass off lately, I should get a day off.

 

 

And are you self employed?

 

In some jobs people are self employed, like photographers, writers, tutors, personal coaches.

 

 

Where are you working now?

 

Actually I am between jobs at the moment. (actually – tak naprawdę.., pamiętacie)

I have just graduated university and I am looking for a job.

I’m taking a break between jobs.
